On 6th March 1965 I married Patricia Joan Denyer the daughter of Arthur and Betty, at St.Matthais Church Ditchling Road Brighton. We had met during our teens through our Scouting and Guiding activities. On our marriage we purchased my parents house at 112 Hollingbury Park Avenue, Brighton and they moved into 58 Stanford Avenue with my mothers parents.

We have three children, Elizabeth Maree, born 13 December 1966, Christopher Charles, born 3 April 1968, and Dawn Erica, born 11 December 1971.
