Note; Joseph a batchelor, died intestate and his brother, William Dyson, acted as his Administrator. The accompanying form of Obligation and Condition was a normal printed form with appropriate gaps to be filled in by a third party (surrogate). The Administrator signed and completed the form.
The following is a short translation of the form and a translation of the Inventory of Joseph's goods and chattels;
The first part, mainly in Latin, is an undertaking by William Dyson of Feckenham Wor, and John Dyson and Henry Ladbury to administer Joseph's estate and to sign the undertaking.
The second part (Condition of the above Obligation) states that William Dyson, lawful brother and administrator of all the goods and chattels of Joseph Dyson, late of Feckenham Wor, batchelor, intestate, deceased, agrees to make a true inventory of such goods and exhibit such inventory into the Registry of the County Court of Worcester before the last day of July 1715.
Any Goods and Chattells that William receives are also to be listed, and if required, exhibited before the last day of May 1716.
